VISUAL MEDICINE was started by Marita Bitans, a medical illustrator and member of the Association of Medical Illustrators for over 25 years.  Her expertise in anatomy and surgical procedures comes from extensive education, training and years of experience.

Since 1989, VisMed has specialized in custom trial exhibits for medical malpractice and personal injury cases. We use case specific x-rays, MRI's and CT's to illustrate the medical or surgical condition. When possible we use the body type and facial features of your client to make it more personalized.

Our medical illustrations simplify complex medical cases so that they can be understood by judge and jury alike. VisMed tells the inside story.
